During the winter it gets too cold to work in my studio, the electric heaters can't keep the temperature up enough for me to work comfortably in spite of layers of jumpers and scarves!
So sadly everything gets packed away and tidied up, and my winter projects get taken down to the house to do in the evenings, usually hand stitching or knitting. workshops will start again in the spring when my outdoor dye kitchen will be set up and hopefully the dye garden will grow enough for me to harvest the plants to use, some of the plants are annuals and will ready for the summer but some will take a bit longer to mature and I may have to wait until next year for them. I hope that next year I will get better at blogging and also at instagram so more people can see what I am doing.
